Mr. Richman serves as Chief Economist for the Renewable Fuels Association, the leading trade association for America’s ethanol industry. He joined the RFA in August 2018 and oversees the development and execution of economic research-and-analysis initiatives to support the association’s public policy, regulatory and public relations objectives.
Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and Co-head of North American Consulting for Informa Agribusiness Consulting. In this role, he provided a broad range of consulting services to agribusinesses, renewable fuels companies, trade associations and government agencies for over 25 years. He has delivered presentations to a number of conferences, including the RFA’s National Ethanol Conference, the World Ethanol and Biofuels Conference and the USDA’s Agricultural Outlook Forum.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Vanderbilt University and his master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University, where he specialized in international business and was an Honorary International Fellow.
